Rozet & Fischmeister:
Tradition and modernity since 1770

Rozet & Fischmeister has been one of Vienna’s most renowned jewellers for over 250 years. A multitude of anecdotes from the jewellery box give an idea of the deep connection between our house and the city and country.

Archduke Karl was presented with an Old Viennese tea service from Rozet & Fischmeister in honour of the city of Vienna. His grandfather, a good friend of Leopold Figl, produced the seal for the State Treaty in just four days, which was finally signed.

Probably the most famous piece is the wide, richly decorated Collier de Chien, which was captured for eternity on Adele Bloch-Bauer’s neck by Gustav Klimt in 1907.

Franz Fischmeister is now the sixth generation to run the family business and combines masterful craftsmanship with a modern approach to innovative design.

His designs, inspired by his experience at Asprey and Cartier, have already won several awards. Together with his father Georg, he produces individual pieces of jewellery and custom-made items and has unique expertise in the areas of vintage and antique jewellery.

Last but not least, our shop at Kohlmarkt No. 11 is architecturally reminiscent of the imperial treasury, paying homage to the imperial and royal tradition of the building. To this day, quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship take centre stage.
